NAMIBIA

Fantastische Fotomotive, speziell gegen Ende der Regenzeit, wenn große Teile des üblicherweise sehr trockenen Landes grün sind. Einige besondere Highlights sind natürlich die Namib Wüste, eine der ältesten Wüsten der Welt mit überwältigenden Sanddünen, der Fish River Canyon - dem zweitgrößten Canyon der Welt und natürlich die Tierwelt des Etoscha Nationalparks......

BOLIVIEN

Vom tropischen Regenwald in den Yungas über die grünen Berghänge der Anden bis hin zum Altiplano mit über 4000m Höhe bietet Bolivien einmalige Eindrücke, viele UNESCO Welterbestätten und somit auch Fotoperspektiven. Sei es die Holzkirchen der Jesuiten aus dem 17. Jahrhundert im Tiefland, die hoch gelegene Silberstadt Potosi, der größte Salzsee der Erde (Salar de Uyuni), koloniale Altstädte oder die bunten Farben der Seen und Flamingos auf dem Altiplano.

GUATEMALA

Mit Küsten zur Karibik und zum Pazifischen Ozean, unzähligen aktiven Vulkanen, einzigartiger Kolonialarchitektur und Ruinen der Ureinwohner im tropischen Regenwald - Guatemala ist ein weiteres einzigartiges Land mit faszinierenden Eindrücken. Vieles der ausgelöschten Kultur der Ureinwohner liegt noch bedeckt vom undurchdringlichen tropischen Regenwald.

ISLAND

Vulkanischen Ursprungs - im Nordatlantik gelegen, bietet Island phantastische EIndrücke und einmalige Farbspiele. Unendlichen Schattierungen des Grün der Wiesen und Moose, schimmerndes Blau des Gletschereises, lebendiges Wasser der unzähligen Wasserfälle und Geysire oder die diversen Farben der Lavafelder. Nebelfelder am Morgen, gefolgt von blauem Himmel und fast mediterranem Sonnenschein, der dann durch Wolken und Regen abgelöst wird.

OMAN
Ein Landschaft geprägt durch Stein- und Sandwüsten, Gebirgszügen mit über 3000m Höhe, fruchtbaren Wadis mit Oasen und einer unberührten Küste am türkisfarbenem Indischen Ozean. Historische Forts und Verteidigungsanlagen zeugen davon, dass das Land über Jahrhunderte im Fokus unterschiedlicher Kolonialmächte war, die alle Spuren hinterlassen haben.

THAILAND

One of the most popular vacation countries globally offers an amazing variaty of impressions. Bangkok the vibrant capital, the mountain regions in the north, tropical beaches and islands in the south, lots of wonderful national parks, phantastic buddhist temples but also lots ancientcities and UNESCO world heritage sites.

NORWAY

Forming the west coast of the Scandinavian peninsula up to the north cape. Lots of fjords cut deep into the country and some of them are 200 km long and over 1000 m deep. Adding up the rugged coast line and including a lot of small islands results in a length of app. 100.000 km. 

SAUDI-ARABIA
It is one of the few countries globally that was not really accessible - except for business and for pilgrims. This changed a lot with the announcement of the agenda 2030, the goal of which is to become more independent of oil and prepare the kingdom for the future.  Saudi Arabia is a country which offers plenty of fascinating landscape, ancient cities, highly modern architecture, but so far without the downside of mass tourism.

QATAR
The main highlight is the city of Doha and specifically the modern architecture of various buildings like the Islamic Art Museum, the National Museum or the National Library. Besides this, only a renovated small part of the former old town gives you an impression of the past. A perfectly clean metro, a modern skyline along the Corniche,  touristic infrastructure and the various stadiums of the soccer world championship of 2022 give the country a modern face.

Romania is a fascinating country with a long history influenced by the christian Habsburg Monarchy on the one side and the Ottoman Empire on the other side. This lead to a rich cultural and architectural heritage and some phantastic UNESCO world heritage sites. With the Carpathians Romania owns the largest and one of the last primeval mountain forest areas of Europe where still thousands of brown bears live and the Danube Delta at the Black Sea forms the second biggest river delta of Europe with a very special ecosystem for flora and fauna. Hence, the cultural heritage, the nature and the wildlife create a perfect mixture for an interesting trip on the Balkans.
